Disability Services Disabilities Access Committee
The goal of Disability Services is to provide educational access for students with disabilities by coordinating information and resources for students and the campus community. Disability Services include:
• classroom accommodations
• academic counseling (individually and in small groups)
• Summer Transition Program
Accepted students who have paid their admissions deposit and who have any type of disability or disorder that affects the ability to learn or function in a college setting, should supply the Academic Support Center with recent, appropriate documentation.
For complete information on submitting disability documentation, please refer to
Castleton’s Disability Documentation Needed statement.
For a more in-depth explanation of what constitutes good, comprehensive documentation, please refer to the Seven Essential Elements of Quality Disability Documentation.
Documentation should be sent to:
Kathy Perzanowski, Learning Specialist
Castleton State College
Castleton, VT 05735
Students with disabilities intending to major in Education and other students who may need accommodations for the PRAXIS, GRE or GMAT tests will need to submit additional documentation to ETS at www.ets.org/disability.
The Learning Specialist will work with students regarding this process. |
