TRiO Information
The Academic Support Center is funded in part by a TRIO grant from the U. S. Department of Education. Additional academic support services are available to TRIO-eligible* students, such as:
• TRIO Grants: Through a brief application process, a number of grants ranging from $500
to $2,500 are awarded to first and second-year TRIO students who have received a Pell
grant and are actively using our services. TRIO Grant applications are available here or
in Babcock Hall.
• Mentoring and Leadership Development: Volunteer and paid employment opportunities
are available during the summer and academic year.
• Technology Loan Program: Laptop computers, portable keyboards, digital cameras, and
other equipment are available for short-term loans.
• Summer Transition Program
* Students are TRIO-eligible if neither parent has earned a 4-year college degree, if
they meet the U.S. Department of Education’s income guidelines, or if they have a documented disability.

To determine if you are TRIO-eligible,
please complete and submit the TRIO Application.
