The Castleton Academic Support Center provides academic counseling, as well as tutoring and disability services to all Castleton students. The Academic Support Center is also home to Student Support Services, a federally funded TRIO program, designed to increase the retention and graduation of program participants. Additional academic support is available to TRIO-eligible* students to enhance success in college courses and sustain progress toward a college degree:

• One-on-one Academic Counseling
• Tutoring
• Assistance with Study Skills
• TRiO Grants
• Mentoring and Leadership Development
• Technology Loan Program
• Summer Transition Program

* A student is TRIO-eligible if neither parent has earned a 4-year college degree, or
if the student meets the federal income guidelines (many financial aid recipients do),
