History, Geography, Economics, and Politics
The Department of History, Geography, Economics and Politics offers several liberal arts programs that educate students to act knowledgeably and effectively in the world. The study of history and the related disciplines of geography, economics, environmental studies, and politics gives students a chance to identify, interpret, and constructively engage the many forces that influence human lives and continually shape the history of the world. Students can major in history, social studies, and, by contract, in economics, environmental studies, geography, and political science.
