| A message from President Dave Wolk
Welcome to Castleton, the small college with a big heart.
We are very proud of our students, our faculty, our staff, our alumni, and all who make up the Castleton family. We pride ourselves on a unique academic quality characterized by close teacher-student interaction, service-learning and, most impressively, a real personal touch in our high tech world. Our graduates continually tell us about how the Castleton experience contributed so much to their success in their careers and in their lives. Students here are involved in a myriad of activities, clubs, athletics, and performances that combine to enhance a very special educational journey.
As you make your way through the web pages and links to Castleton activities, people and programs, remember that the best way to experience this unique Castleton experience is to visit our campus and the wonderful people who are so special to our success. Just as we will want to make sure that you have the ability and initiative to take on the Castleton challenge, you will want to make sure that we are the right place for you.
I can assure you that Castleton will "make a difference" in your life. Come to our campus, and you will learn that you, too, can make a difference in your college as you prepare to make a difference in the world.
I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our very impressive, and growing, Castleton family.
