Advanced CAD Technologies will provide an opportunity for students to explore select technologies more in depth, and design the learning experience that is most applicable to their own classrooms. For those who have taken “Intro to CAD Technologies” this course provides an opportunity to further your knowledge of 3D printing, laser engraving or CNC routers, whichever you choose. For others, it is an opportunity to design a course that focuses around one or more of those technologies and have the time and resources to explore them further. Students will create many products, and will direct their own learning experience relative to what is most applicable to their own teaching situation.
Students will further their knowledge and skills with select technologies.
1. Create multiple products utilizing select technologies
2. Create lessons/units to be implemented in their classrooms
