You will study the different features of music and the technical process behind mastering an instrument. You will work with the multitude of elements that make up music performance, such as conducting, arranging, and more.
As a music minor, you will explore theories of music and other foundational skills. The skills you will gain by minoring in music can be transferrable to different fields, such as communication and theater.

A minor in Music may be earned by completing a minimum of 18 credits in Music, 9 of which must be at the 2000 level or above, each with a grade of "C" or better.
The courses must be chosen in consultation with an advisor in the Music Department.
