Your transition to Castleton started with registering for classes and completing the online orientation modules. The process continues at in-person Fall Orientation. Our goal is to give you the information and skills you need to be successful, both inside and outside of the classroom.
Yes. If you have a serious conflict, write to Matthew Patry, Director of Student Activities at matthew.patry@castleton.edu, and explain your circumstances.
At Orientation, you will hear from campus leaders, learn about critical policies and procedures, be introduced to useful services, and meet friendly, helpful people.
As part of your Connections Seminar, you will be completing Soundings requirements. Soundings introduces the liberal arts through performances, lectures, and exhibits. During Orientation, you will meet the Soundings instructors and learn about the fall Soundings offerings as well as Soundings policies and procedures.
Absolutely! If you are a First-Year student, you will be working closely with members of the Student Orientation Staff during Orientation. The job of your SOS is to answer your questions and help you feel ready for the start of the semester.
The Castleton University Store hours will be announced soon. In the meantime, check out their website.
