Scholarships for Graduate Students

Scholarships are awarded to master degree seeking students regularly admitted by program deadlines on a first come, first served basis for 2017-2018 enrollment. Each scholarship is based on the eligibility criteria listed, and students must meet all eligibility criteria at the time of acceptance. Students are offered the highest award for which they qualify. Amounts are non-negotiable and may be used for tuition only.

Castleton Educators Scholarship

Licensed teachers and school administrators working in K-12 education will be eligible for the Castleton Educators Scholarship. Amounts of up to$1440 *($160/credit) per semester will be awarded to qualifying students in the fall, spring, and  summer semesters as long as the student maintains a 3.0/4.0  grade point average.

Castleton Alumni Scholarship

The university is pleased to announce that all Castleton alumni entering into one of our graduate programs in the summer or fall of 2017 will be eligible to receive the Castleton Alumni Scholarship. Amounts of up to $2000 *(approximately $220/credit) per semester will be awarded to qualifying students in the fall, spring, and summer semesters as long as the student maintains a 3.0/4.0 grade point average. 

*Students enrolled in 9-12 credits per semester will receive the full scholarship amount. Those registered for under 9 credits will receive the scholarship on a per credit basis. Courses taken through the Castleton Center for Schools or the Higher Education Collaborative cannot be included in credit counts for these scholarships.
