Former Castleton State College Students are eligible for membership. In addition, honorary membership may be granted to those individuals who, although never Castleton students, distinguished themselves by their contribution to or association with Castleton athletics.

1. Nominees must be persons who have continued to exemplify the traits of character and sportsmanship that are consistent with the ideals of athletic competition, and whose inclusion in the Atheltic Hall of Fame would reflect well upon the college.
2. Former Castleton students will be eligible for membership in the Hall of Fame after the tenth anniversary of their last semester of enrollment at the college, or immediately upon their decease.
3. Nominees for honorary membership should have contributed significantly to Castleton atheltics for a period of at least five years.
4. Teams nominated will be eligible for membership in the Hall of Fame after the tenth anniversary of their nominated season of completion.
