Castleton falls to Norwich 5-4

Castleton, VT-The Castleton State College men's tennis team lost to Norwich University 5-4 for the second time this season in non-conference action.

The hard fought match went down to the wire, with a three-set #6 singles loss sealing the win for Norwich.

Justin Garritt and Jeremy Henderson each won singles matches for the 4-3 Spartans. Garritt won #3 singles 6-2, 6-2 while Henderson took home #5 singles 7-5, 6-4.

Garritt teamed with Ted Panasci for a 9-7 win in #2 doubles, while Jamie Cook and Dan Piliero took home #3 doubles 8-4.

The Spartans are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Johnson State for a 4:00 pm North Atlantic Conference match-up. [Results]
