(April 28, 2008) - Bridgewater State secured the top seed in the upcoming New England Women’s Lacrosse Alliance Championship after completing regular season play with a 7-0 record. The Bears (7-0 NEWLA, 12-4 overall) will host fourth seed Westfield State (4 3 NEWLA, 8-6 overall) in a semifinal game on Wednesday, April30th. Castleton (6-1 NEWLA, 8-6 overall) will host Worcester State (5-2 NEWLA, 8-4 overall) in the other semifinal.

The top four teams qualify for the NEWLA Championship. Semifinal games will be played on Wednesday, April 30 at the higher seed. Semifinal winners will meet Saturday, May 3 at the highest remaining seed. Game times are subject to change.
