(September 22, 2008) - Courtney Chadburn (North Clarendon, VT/Mill River Union) has been named the North Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week. Chadburn continued to show her scoring prowess in her first collegiate season, scoring five goals in a 1-1 week for Castleton.

In a 3-2 loss to MCLA, Chadburn tallied one goal that tied the score at the time. In her first career conference game, Chadburn scored four times, including the game winner, as Castleton defeated Lyndon State on homecoming weekend.

Chadburn currently leads the NAC with 13 goals through her first seven collegiate games.
