(September 22, 2008) - Michelle Podnecky (Bridgewater, VT/Woodstock Union) has been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the third-consecutive week. In Castleton's only match of the week, a 9-0 win at Johnson State, Podnecky was once again near perfect.

In #1 singles she won in straight-sets, 6-4, 6-0. She then teamed with classmate, Kate Bucci, for an 8-0 win in #1 doubles.

Podnecky is a perfect 6-0 in both #1 singles and doubles to start her career.
