(October 19, 2007) - Castleton State College will host the North Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Championships this weekend, October 20-21. The flighted event features individuals from Bay Path, Becker, Johnson State and host Castleton.

Seeding was determined by comparison of conference records. The top seed will play the fourth seed to open play while the second seed will meet the third seed. Winners will advance to the flight championship. Points are awarded for each victory; one point for a win in the championship bracket and a half point for a consolation victory. A team champion will be determined by total points earned.

Competition will be held on campus at Castleton State College if weather permits. If the event is moved indoors matches will be held at the Grand Slam Tennis Center in Rutland, Vt.
