Five Spartans Named ECAC East All-Academic
(March 18, 2008) - Cape Cod, Mass. - Commissioner of the ECACECAC East Rudy Keeling announced today the ECAC Women's East All-Academic team for the 2007-08 season.This marks the sixth year that the conference has named an All-Academic team; a total of 58 student-athletes representing 12 ECAC East teams earned this honor based on outstanding performance in the classroom. Castleton Announces Full-Time Hockey Position
Stone Steps Down After Serving One Season
(March 19, 2008) - Greg Stone, head coach of the Castleton StateGreg Stone College women’s ice hockey team, has resigned to make way for a full-time position to be added. Stone had agreed to take the reins of the Spartans until the college could create a full-time opportunity. Stone will continue his duties as coach, including recruiting, until his replacement is hired. (Full Article)
Carter Earns Spot on All-Conference Second Team
(March 6, 2008) - Cape Cod, Mass. - Commissioner of the ECAC Vanessa CarterRudy Keeling announced today the ECAC Women's East All Conference teams for the 2007-08 season. The team is voted on by the coaches of the league each year. (Full Article)
