Castleton wins North Atlantic Conference match over Johnson State 9-0

Rutland, VT-After rain forced the match to the indoor courts at Grand Slam Tennis in Rutland, Castleton put on a show, winning 73 games while giving up only 15.

The match was Castleton's first 9-0 sweep of the season, as the team received singles wins from Jamie Olson (Rutland, VT/Rutland), Charla Klaas (Shickshinny, PA/Wyoming Seminary), Lauren Kuenzel (Saratoga Springs, NY/Saratoga), Emily Hallett (Medway, MA/Medway), Meg Kuczynski (Proctor, VT/Stuyvesant), and Mallory Wilson (Rutland, VT/Rutland). The Badgers were without their top players for the match.

With the victory the Spartans improve to 3-3 (2-1 NAC) and are back in action when they travel to Mass.-Liberal Arts on Sunday, September 24 at 1:00 PM. [Complete Results]
