Castleton drops to 1-2 after suffering loss at Lyndon State 6-3

Lyndonville, VT-Castleton fell to an improved Lyndon State College team, losing four out of six singles matches to the Hornets.

The Spartans received singles wins in the #3 and #5 spots from Lauren Kuenzel (Saratoga Springs, NY/Saratoga) and Meg Kuczynski (Proctor, VT/Stuyvesant). Emily Hallett (Medway, MA/Medway) dropped a very close contest in #4 singles losing 7-6, 7-5. Castleton won two out of three doubles matches but it was not enough to pull out the win.
