Student IDs & Meal Plans

Student Identification

Your College ID is an important tool that identifies you as a Castleton student. The card gives you entry into each residence hall, acts as your library card, and is how you access meal plans purchased on campus. New student IDs are free, however, there is a fee for replacing an ID. These are issued by the Office of Public Safety.

Meal Plans

All residents living on campus will be assigned an unlimited meal plan. Students can change their meal plan to either 12 meals per week, or 8 meals per week and can add debit money, known as points, to any meal plan. Students can make any necessary changes only during the first two weeks of each semester through their online student account. Meal plans specifically for commuter students are available. Meals are obtained at Huden Dining Hall, while retail options can be found at Fireside Cafe in the Campus Center, and at the Coffee Cottage located in the Moriarty House adjacent to Woodruff Hall.
