Welcome to the Campus Center
The Castleton State College Campus Center is the center of the Castleton community. It offers various events, activities, and services available to all members of the Castleton community.
The Campus Center is the large white concrete building that visitors see first when they enter the Castleton campus. It serves as the "co-curricular hub" of the Castleton community. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the surrounding community come together here as one in the "living room" of Castleton.
Programs and services offered by the Campus Center extend to all corners of the Castleton campus and local community.
The Campus Center is thought of as the "home away from home" for most. Here, educational and social needs of the community come together to form a partnership where each of us can flourish.
The Campus Center Advisory Board (CCAB) was established to provide input and receive feedback concerning Campus Center services and programs; develop and/or monitor short and long term goals for the Campus Center; review and recommend building policies to the Director of the Campus Center; serve as advocates and supporters of the Campus Center; and assist with design and implementation of Campus Center programs and services. The board meets monthly and is made up of seven voting members who are appointed by the Student Association terms of office. Every effort his made by the CCAB to balance the needs of all constituent groups - students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community. The Chair of the Campus Center Advisory Board can be reached at 468-1228.
Castleton is a member of the ACUI organization.
