Natasha Ngaiza is a Tanzanian-American, born in London and raised on the east coast of the U.S. Her short films, "Blackout", "A Creation Story" and "5 Afternoons" all explore the intricacies of transnational African identity, motherhood and memory and have screened at numerous film international film festivals. Ngaiza's professional interests include African Cinema, race and gender representation, and hybrid cinema. She currently lives in Middlebury with her husband and young daughters and dreams of having a dog and a proper garden.
