Castleton State College Library became a selective depository for
U.S. Federal Documents in 1969, and currently receives approximately
6,000 new items each year. As a depository, the library serves
both the college community and all of southern Vermont. Most
documents are kept in a separate "Government Documents Depository"
area, in paper, microfiche, or electronic format. See a Reference
or Documents Librarian for help in locating government information.
A substantial amount of government information is now available
via the web sites of federal agencies, and through central servers.
See below for lists of selected federal web resources.
