Children's Magazines: Castleton carries Cricket.

Review Journals: These journals include reviews of children's and young adult literature. Castleton subscribes to School Library Journal.

Critical Journals: These journals feature scholarly articles about children's literature. Some titles in Castleton's holdings are Children's Literature, Children's Literature Association Quarterly, and The Lion and the Unicorn. Additional articles about children's literature may be found in education and library journals such as English Education, English Journal, Language Arts, and Reading Teacher. Some of these titles are indexed in MLA International Bibliography and some are indexed in Education Full Text.
