Vermont Literary Review The first issue of Vermont Literary Review was published in 1994. The review is published once a year. Work featured in the review includes poetry, fiction, drama, and personal essays from and about New England. Students and professors review the work submitted and select work to be published. They edit and design the review, too. The editors invite creative work from and about New England. Poetry, fiction, drama, and personal essays should not exceed 4,000 words. Photographs and drawings should be black and white. All submissions must be postmarked between August 31 and January 31. Include SASE for response. Written work will not be mailed back. The payment for publication is two contributor's copies. Address all correspondence to Vermont Literary Review, Department of English, Castleton State College, Castleton, VT 05735.
