Dr. Thomas Conroy holds a B.S. in Public Relations from Boston University, a B.A.and M.A. in Communication from Rhode Island College, and a Ph.D. In Communication from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. His areas of interest include Cultural Studies, Audience Studies, Medial Literacy, and Public Relations for Non Profit and Social Service institutions. Dr. Robert Gershon has been watching television for close to 50 years. Nevertheless, he holds a BA from Princeton and a PhD from Boston University. He has taught video, internet production and other communication subjects at Castleton for 22 years. He has been an advertising copywriter, produced a number of documentaries and non-fiction programs for state and national brodcast, and won national awards for his Discovery Channel documentary "You Can't Print That." Dr. Radha Bhatkal is Associate Professor of Education
at Castleton. She is a former teacher and principal. Her doctoral research
and experience have been in media analysis as it relates to pedagogical/cultural
issues. She holds a B.A. from he University of Bombay, a B.Ed. from the
University of Poona, and an M.Ed and Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska.
