Art field trip to NYCYou Can't Take It with YouWomen's Basketball
College Union delegation

Castleton was well represented at the annual regional conference of the Association of College Unions International held at the Davis Center at UVM. Representing Castleton were Amanda Barry, Amanda Smith, Callie Quinn, Samantha Greeno, Justin Garritt, Michael Miller, Melissa Paradee, Tammy Lattuca, Christie Wilkerson, and Victoria Angis.  As a member of the conference committee, Melissa coordinated and mentored the graduate students in attendance from all over New England and the United Kingdom.  Christie presented an intensive workshop for grad students. Tammy and Victoria presented a program for undergraduate programs on Castleton's Green Campus Initiative. Castleton's "swap shop" display won the best overall presentation award.

Castleton and PEGTV form partnership

Castleton and PEGTV, the Rutland community access television station, have formed a long-term relationship that will benefit both students and area television viewers. Selected educational, cultural, and athletic events at the college will be taped or broadcast live to the Rutland area. Offerings will be available on PEGTV’s web site as streaming video or video on demand. MORE

Sustainability Day - October 22, 2008  
The Bus The Student Association presented The Bus with a check for $3000. The Bus has a regular schedule from Rutland to Castleton. Rides are free until January.
100-tons

Castleton celebrated recycling 100-tons of materials since the beginning of the Green Campus Initiative. The poles and ribbons approximate the volume of the recycled material.
