Professor Ana María Alfaro-Alexander
We have the best students at Castleton! They study hard, have a lot of fun and love to learn more every single day! They love the challenge of studying abroad and they return speaking like natives! When graduation comes they are almost completely bilingual, they do great in the job market. Our students are down to earth people who care about our world.

Professor Delma Wood
As a native Argentinean, my love and passion for the Hispanic languages and cultures was in exile while I practiced as a certified public accountant. Now I can share the enthusiasm, experiences, and authentic ethnic culture with our students in a personalized classroom setting. Students from Vermont and neighboring states defy every myth about becoming proficient in Spanish while expanding their knowledge of the Americas and Spain.

Natalia Fernández - Teaching Assistant
Argentina
I graduated as a Translator of English in Argentina, my native country, and I was working as a teacher of English there. Having the chance to come to Castleton to teach Spanish and share my Argentine culture, meet all these friendly people, study and learn so much about the United States will be a wonderful experience that I will never forget.
