A minor in Women's and Gender studies offers you insight into gender, how people identify with gender, and the history of gender issues in the past and present.
You will be immersed in studies that look at the past and present of race, gender, sexuality, and social problems within different communities and cultures. This minor supports the development of critical thinking, theorizing, and effective communication.
These requirements are from an excerpt from the University Academic Catalog, which outlines the requirements for a student to earn the distinction of being a Castleton University graduate. The complete catalog is available online.
The Women's & Gender Studies Minor is being redesigned. Until that process is complete, please contact the Coordinator (Dr. Melinda Mills) for guidance on how to earn the WGS Minor: melinda.mills@castleton.edu
