Master of Arts in Arts Administration

Castleton offers the most efficient, most effective, and most affordable accredited Master of Arts in Arts Administration (MA.AA) program in the United States. The fully online program is project-focused, with an emphasis in all courses on the practical application of the material. Graduates can expect to leave the program not only with a graduate degree in just 30 credits – one calendar year for the full-time student - but also a portfolio of projects that demonstrates mastery across a spectrum of areas of arts leadership, which will place you at the top of prospective employers’ lists.

The six-credit culminating internship will set you apart from your peers, allowing you to engage much more fully on a project of significance. This will allow you to experience higher levels of arts leadership firsthand, affect real change in an organization, and develop a comprehensive internship case study presentation for the Castleton faculty and potential employers.

You will learn from experienced arts administrators, in a personalized setting, that is designed to quickly and effectively prepare you to take the next step in your professional career.

The Arts Administration program at Castleton has been designed in close consultation with the Association for Arts Administration Educators’ “Standards for Arts Administration Graduate Program Curricula,” ensuring its quality, rigor, and comprehensiveness.
