Course Goals & Objectives
Throughout this four (4) week course, students will be introduced to several methods and techniques of building relationships in the online/digital world through personalized coaching between instructor and student. Using real-life practices and current methods of online delivery, students will reflect on their current practices and refine what methods and techniques will work best for the online learning world and, most importantly, will develop a Plan of Action. Facilitation will be through group discussion and individual meetings. On completion of the course, the successful student will be able to:
- Define effective positive relationship building in the online world as it relates to the individual students' current role (i.e., teacher, school leader, etc.)
- Understand effective techniques to build positive relationships while working entirely or partially online.
- Implement new learning into the real-world situations in which the student currently works, simultaneously as course learning is moving forward (Plan of Action)
