This minor introduces you to different aspects of our government and how they work, international relations, and more.
You will also gain exposure to power, government, and public policies internationally. You will learn about different behaviors in politics and understand how government activity takes place in a politically powerful world.
You will also be introduced to real-world issues that are affecting communities and cultures around the world, such as health care, globalization, climate change, human rights, and more.

The Political Science Minor is offered by the HGEP Department. Upon completion of the minor, students will be able to demonstrate understanding of the sources and exercise of power.
Complete 18 credits in Political Science, chosen in consultation with the Political Science Coordinator. No more than 6 credits in courses cross-listed in Political Science (POS) may be used to fulfill the Politics Minor requirements.
