An undergraduate F-1 visa international student must take a minimum of 12 credits each term (fall and spring) to maintain his/her visa status. Summer term is optional; however, additional expenses for tuition and books will result if you take summer classes. Most of our courses are 3 credit courses; therefore, 12 credits are 4 courses. You may take up to 18 credits each term without additional tuition cost.

Partial merit-based scholarships ranging from $2,500 to full tuition are available to undergraduate international students. Students with an average grade of B or a GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale will be awarded a minimum of a $9,000 scholarship. Please be aware that the number of students receiving full-tuition scholarships is very limited. Refer to the scholarship information for details.
All scholarships are awarded based on admissions application information. All international applications are processed on a rolling basis, and there is no deadline. Your application for admission and supporting credentials should be submitted as early as possible to allow us sufficient time to process your application and for you to obtain your visa, and arrange for travel to the U.S.
On- and off-campus employment opportunities, such as Curricular Practical Training and Optional Practical Training, are available. Please be aware that there are restrictions on international student employment in the U.S.
