DESCRIPTION: Castleton University hosts a panel discussion exploring the vision and values of democratic participation within the social-political horizon of health care in Vermont, including Act 39 &ndash Death with Dignity and Medical Assistance in Dying &ndash and Proposition 5 - which states that &ldquoan individual&rsquos right to personal reproductive autonomy is central to the liberty and dignity to determine one&rsquos own life course.&rdquo   Panelists include Betsy Walkerman, president of Patient Choices Vermont Meagan Gallagher, president of Planned Parenthood Vermont and Stephen Kiernan, author/journalist and health care advocate. The panel will be moderated by Vermont Lt. Governor David Zuckerman.
