Want to live on campus? Please fill out a housing contract and then visit us in the Residence Life Office and we will assist you in finding a room.

Castleton University offers traditional, suite, and apartment-style housing for residential students at our Castleton, Rutland, and Killington campuses and locations.  

Castleton Campus

Adams Hall

Adams Hall

This four-story residence hall is home to 116 students who live in 14 suites, each consisting of four bedrooms, a furnished common living room, and a bathroom. Adams Hall is conveniently located next to Huden Dining Hall, Glenbrook Gymnasium, and the Campus Center.   

Audet House 

This pod-style house is made up of six “pods,” or three double-occupancy rooms and a shared bathroom. 36 students share two common lounges and a kitchen area. Audet House is home to Honors Housing, providing a dedicated environment for students who are interested in living with other academically-drive students.

Babcock Hall 

Babcock Hall is a four-story, corridor-style residence hall that is home to nearly 120 students. The floors are co-ed with designated male, female, and gender-neutral showers and bathrooms. The hall includes shared balconies. Double and triple rooms are available in Babcock Hall. The Academic Support Center is located on the first floor.  

Castleton Hall

Castleton Hall

A three-story, suite-style residence hall, Castleton Hall can accommodate up to 170 students. Each floor includes 19 single-sex suites with four bedrooms, a furnished living room, and two bathrooms. It is attached to Glenbrook Gymnasium and is home to Castleton’s Fitness Center and some classrooms.  

Ellis Hall

This three-story, corridor-style residence hall is home to nearly 145 students. Ellis Hall includes designated single and double rooms, and each floor has designated male and female showers and bathrooms. Ellis Hall is also home to a gender-inclusive floor, which includes a designated gender-neutral bathroom.  

Haskell Hall 

This four-story residence hall is home to 116 students who live in 14 suites, each consisting of four bedrooms, a furnished common living room, and a bathroom.  

Hoff Hall 

Hoff Hall

Hoff Hall is a corridor-style residence hall that can accommodate 162 students in double rooms. Each floor includes a kitchen, lounge, and study area. The second and third floors have two balconies that overlook Castleton’s athletics fields. The Conferences and Events office and meeting space are located on the first floor, and Hoff Hall is located next to Dave Wolk Stadium as well as the softball and baseball fields.

Morrill Hall 

This four-story residence hall is home to 112 students. Each floor is co-ed and the building contains 14 single-sex suites, which includes four bedrooms and a shared furnished common living area and bathroom. Morrill is located next to Huden Dining Hall, Glenbrook Gymnasium, and has private balconies that overlook Castleton’s athletics fields.  

North House 

This pod-style house is made up of six “pods,” or three double-occupancy rooms and a shared bathroom. 36 students share two common lounges and a kitchen area. Audet House is home to Honors Housing, providing a dedicated environment for students who are interested in living with other academically-drive students.  

South House 

This pod-style house is made up of six “pods,” or three double-occupancy rooms and a shared bathroom. 36 students share two common lounges and a kitchen area. South House is dedicated to Wellness Housing, a perfect fit for students who want to live a substance-free and well-balanced lifestyle.   

Wheeler Hall 

Wheeler Hall

A four-story residence hall that can accommodate up to 112 students, each floor is co-ed and contains four suites with four bedrooms, a shared common area, and a bathroom. Wheeler Hall suites on the second, third, and fourth floors have private balconies. 

Rutland Campus

Foley Hall

Foley Collage Kitchen and Bedroom

Foley Hall offers apartment-style housing for 39 students conveniently located in downtown Rutland, just 15 minutes from the Castleton campus. Each apartment includes single-person bedrooms with a shared kitchen, living area, and bathroom. Foley Hall includes apartments for as little as one person and as many as four people.   

Killington Campus

Castleton Lodge at Killington

Students in Castleton's Resort & Hospitality Management Program live in the newly renovated Castleton Lodge at Killington. The Castleton Lodge at Killington is located on the Killington Access Road and features conference space, computer lab, dining room and food service, laundry facilities, recreation areas, and a fireplace lounge.
