Registration for matriculated students will take place from November 5 to November 20. Students may register online (with their advisor’s assistance or approval) or by appointment in the Financial & Registration Services. After this period matriculated students may register during regular hours with the Financial & Registration Services Center until January 18, 2019. Matriculated students who are approved for online registration may register online through January 21.

Registration for non-matriculated students starts on November 26 and continues through January 18, 2019.
Castleton encourages graduate students to register early to ensure adequate enrollment. Special payment options may be available for graduate students. Please check with Financial & Registration Services for details.
Starting January 22, 2019, all course adds must be made in Financial & Registration Services; add-slips must have both the instructor and the advisor's signature. Students who have been approved for online registration may drop full semester courses online through February 5, 2019. After February 5 both adds and drops (signed by both instructor and advisor) must be made in Financial & Registration Services.
An Add/Drop form is required for all schedule changes made in Financial & Registration Services. No schedule is officially amended until Financial & Registration Services has received and initialed the form. The date of receipt will serve as the basis for assessing any fees and/or determining refunds. If a student is receiving financial aid, adding or dropping courses may cause the student's financial aid to change. In addition, enrollment status may impact athletic eligibility, and/or eligibility for on-campus housing. The student should contact Financial & Registration Services to determine the impact of such a change in enrollment.
If you plan on adding a full-semester course you should do it in the first week of add-drop, many instructors will be reluctant to let you add in the second week.

Applications for Degree for December 2019 are due in the Registrar’s Office on December 1, 2017. A good time to take care of this important requirement is during your registration appointment. If you are planning on finishing your degree requirements by May 2019 please submit your application for degree immediately, as those applications for degree were due May 2018.
Degree Applications for May 2020 are due in the Financial & Registration Services no later than May 1, 2019. A good time to take care of this important requirement is during your registration appointment.
