Castleton has a variety of opportunities for students to travel and study away, including the fall Castleton Semester in the American Southwest, short travel courses with Castleton faculty, and full semester, year, or summer study away programs in hundreds of universities around the globe.
As students prepare for life beyond the college campus, there to guide them as they consider their future plans is Castleton’s Director of Career Services, Renee Beaupre-White.
Spearheading the Office of Career Services, her mission is to teach and prepare students to successfully navigate from college to career with clarity, confidence and competence.
Mark your calendar! Castleton’s 228th Commencement exercises will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Complete information about seating, tickets, and other graduation activities should be available on the Castleton web site by March 1. If your student is completing degree requirements in December 2014, please remind him/her to check their Castleton email frequently next semester for updated Commencement information.
The Residence Halls will close on December 19, 2014 at 6 pm. The Residence Halls will reopen on January 2, 2015 at 10 am. (Please note: classes start Monday, January 12.) If your student plans to stay in the Residence Halls over break please make sure s/he fills out an online break housing form. Winter athletes will be advised by head coaches about when to report back to campus.
