I.D. Policy

Your University I.D. is an important basis for identifying yourself and should be in your possession at all times on campus. In response to a request from a University official, students are required to present their I.D. to identify themselves. An I.D. may also carry with it privileges at other colleges and universities. Arrangements for re-issue can be made at the Public Safety Office. The loaning, borrowing, alteration or illegal duplication of a University Identification Card is prohibited. Any infraction of this will result in disciplinary action. Disciplinary action will depend on the severity of the situation as interpreted by the hearing panel or officer. University officials have authority to confiscate the I.D.'s. 

There is a charge for replacement cards. I.D. Replacement Fees:

  • Students who have not received an I.D. before: FREE
  • Students replacing an old style I.D.: FREE
  • Students replacing a damaged I.D. (in possession of it): $15; I.D. must be turned in.
  • Students replacing a worn, not damaged I.D. (in possession of it): FREE; I.D. must be turned in.
  • Students who want a new I.D. (in possession of it): $15; I.D. must be turned in.
  • Students who lost I.D.: $35
  • Students may choose to charge replacement fees to their accounts in the Financial & Registration Center.
