Widli serves as Director of Development and Alumni Affairs at Castleton University and is a 2013 graduate of the Media & Communication program. She has worked at the University since 2013, holding several positions, including communications coordinator and assistant director of university relations. She is also an MBA candidate at Castleton University.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, Widli values giving back to and supporting her local community. She currently serves as a member on the Lake Bomoseen Association Board of Directors and Castleton University Alumni Association Board of Directors, as well as volunteers her time to support local organizations, such as the Rutland Community Cupboard, and is a member of the Rutland Young Professionals.
Castleton University Associate Dean of Advancement James Lambert said Widli is an excellent choice for Rising Star recognition.

The Vermont Business Magazine Rising Star Awards names 40 of Vermont’s most accomplished young leaders under 40 years old who show a commitment to business growth, professional excellence, and involvement in their communities. Widli is one of five recipients from Rutland County.
In an announcement of this year’s honorees, Vermont Business Magazine publisher John Boutin said he was excited by the nominations in the 11th year of the Rising Star Awards.
