COMMUNITY SERVICE

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

-Margaret Mead

Welcome

Through community service students discover a broadened perspective, strengthened voices and awareness that they can make a difference.  Help us turn our vision of a stronger local and world community into a reality through new and ongoing initiatives involving students, faculty, staff, and meaningful partnerships with community agencies.

A few of the many volunteer opportunities we have to offer include:
Mentoring in area schools
America Reads Program
Alternative Spring Break
Meals on Wheels
The Boys & Girls Club
Habitat for Humanity

If you have any suggestions, announcements for future postings, or questions please feel free to contact Chrispin White at (802) 468-1431 or Jan Rousse at (802) 468-1371.
Or you may stop by and visit us upstairs in The Robert T. Stafford Center for the Support and Study of the Community. We are located in Moriarty House above Coffee Cottage.
