A group exhibition of three painters from the surrounding region.
-Mindy Fisher is from New Hampshire but makes her home in Vermont and has exhibited and taught around the United States. Over the past decade she has been creating a series of paintings called “Ornaglyphs”. These surreal, gouache paintings feature a crazy cast of bird-like characters and a hieroglyphic non-language that is open to interpretation.
-Roscoe Tyler Stark lives in New York State. The styles, environments, and objects used in his recent paintings are connected to and drawn from his life experience, both the good and the bad.
-J.R. Ewing is a German-born seventy-year-old self-taught painter and has lived in Rutland for 32 years. He works in many different mediums but always finding himself continually drawn back to acrylics. His subject matter ranges from landscapes, animals, and abstractions.
