Lisa Ryan is the first person of color to serve on the Board of Aldermen in Rutland, Vermont. She has advocated for implicit bias training as well as a dissolution of the Rutland High School mascot.
Tabitha Moore is the former President of the NAACP Rutland Chapter. She also specializes in diversity training and advocates for racial justice in Vermont.
Kesha Ram is the first person of color to serve as a Vermont Senator. Her newest initiative is "to help women of color learn how to navigate the challenges of holding public office."
