Dealing with Trauma Through Art
Vermont Artist Traci Molloy will discuss her work as an artist, collaborator, and education activist. She will describe her work generating large-scale multimedia projects with trauma survivors, including partnering with youth who lost a parent 9/11, sexual violence survivors, adolescents directly impacted by opiate addiction, and youth displaced from their home countries due to war and genocide. Molloy will also talk about her experiences facilitating educational outreach programs for adolescents in Atlanta and the Bronx, and the ways she uses educational methodologies to generate social change.
This event is free and open to the public.
