Heritage Family Credit Union presents The Grift as part of the 2019 Castleton Summer Concerts at the Pavilion.
The Grift is Vermont's premier good-time party band, playing catchy original tunes and popular covers across a variety of genres of music. With serious musical and songwriting chops, The Grift have been playing across central Vermont for nearly 20 years. Bassist/Vocalist Peter Day won a recent Vermont-wide songwriter contest, and Guitarist/Vocalist Clint Bierman co-wrote “I’m On My Way” for the Shrek 2 soundtrack. Drummer Jeff Vallone (classically trained, no less) has at least one symphony under his belt. And Andrew Moroz on keys has toured and recorded with the likes of Phish, Anais Mitchell, and Jennifer Hartswick, and has shared the stage with Carlos Santana and Dave Matthews.
Heritage Family Credit Union Presents: Castleton Summer Concerts at the Pavilion will feature a premier lineup of local bands that are set to take center stage all summer long. Continued every Tuesday evening throughout the summer, the eight-show series highlights live entertainment by outstanding local area professional musicians.
All concerts in the series are free and open to the public (held rain or shine). Concessions will be available through Dugout Dogs. Castleton University will be collecting non-perishable food items at each concert to help support the Castleton food shelf.
