Castleton University will be hosting the Lt. Governor's Movie Series, showing "Under the Bridge: The Criminalization of Homelessness." This documentary is about a tent city under a bridge in Indianapolis and the criminalization of homelessness in the United States. The film follows Maurice, an older man who tries to help this community and keep the city from shutting it down. It explores the impact – both positive and negative – of groups attempting to address this issue.
The film is 75 minutes long and will be followed by a 75 minute panel discussion. Doors open at 6:30 and the film begins at 7 p.m. Free and open to the public.
