Writing Workshop with Yvonne Daley: Poetry and Soliloquy

For the last four years, Yvonne Daley has been working on two projects: she’s returned to her first love of poetry while plugging away on a nonfiction book entitled "My First Murder," a kind of memoir that celebrates community-based journalism. Her second writing workshop will focus on poetry, especially soliloquy — a kind of poetry in which the writer speaks her thoughts and reactions on the page — and provide writing prompts for a breakout writing session where participants can create their own poems and share with the group if they choose to do so.
