The Academic Support Center serves all Castleton students. From tutoring to academic counseling, disability services to graduate school preparation, the ASC fosters success throughout students’ college journey. With comfy chairs, computers, and a printer, the ASC is also a welcoming study space.
The University’s Public Safety Department provides service to the Castleton community 24-hours a day, 365 days a year and works to ensure a safe environment for everyone who lives, studies, and works here. Our Public Safety Department oversees student IDs, registering your vehicle, maintaining the Castleton Alerts emergency notification system, and more.
The Office of Career Services assists students with all aspects of career planning, including choosing a major, self-assessments to find what careers might be the best fit for you, internship and job search strategies, help applying to graduate school, and more. Our Career Services staff also provide support for Castleton graduates.
Castleton’s Wellness Center offers first-aid services, health, and wellness information, referrals to local medical practices and dentists, and on-campus counseling services facilitated by a licensed psychologist. In addition to the Wellness Center, Castleton offers the Student Support Network and Peer Advocates for Change (PAC), a volunteer student group that provides training and educational programming about sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, and harassment.
At Castleton, we offer a number of ways for parents and families of prospective and current students to remain connected to what’s happening on campus. This includes a newsletter called Castleton Connects that contains important deadlines, news, and events, as well as parent-focused Facebook groups for incoming and current students. We hope that these opportunities allow you to support your student while also building relationships with other Castleton parents.
