As the 2013 academic year brings upon further change and improvements to the college campus and community, the Castleton Admissions Department is pleased to announce the addition of a new connecting role between the Admissions and Athletics departments being taken on by Chris Eder.
For the past ten years Eder has been working full-time in the Admissions Office as the Senior Associate Director of Admissions, while coaching the highly-successful men's and women’s alpine ski teams.
He will now transition over to the Spartan Athletic Complex, where he will retain his role as Alpine Ski Coach, but also serve as the Admissions/Athletics Liaison.
His new position will include serving as a line of communication between the Admissions Office and the Athletics Department’s administration and coaches, sharing ongoing news and updates between the two departments.
“I’m very excited about this new role, as it will enable me to help assist all of our coaches in their recruiting efforts,” said Eder. “At the same time, I am equally excited to be able to spend more time recruiting for and coaching our men’s and women’s ski teams.”
