Christine Price Gallery
The Christine Price Gallery at Castleton will feature the works of local area students as part of the th!NK Project running from January 16 through February 16, with an artist reception scheduled for Friday, February 9 at 5 p.m.
Born in the summer of 2016, the th!NK Project began to take shape in March of 2017. Over the course of three weeks, several schools in the Rutland Northeast Supervisory Union and the Compass Arts and Music Center collaborated to begin the inspired, ambition endeavor. Entitled “The th!NK Project: A RNESU Visual Art Collaboration” the project transformed Castleton’s 2,300-square foot gallery space into a blank canvas where faculty, staff, students and their families worked cooperatively to create a single, complex and interconnected drawing using only ink and brush.
The Christine Price Gallery is located on the Castleton University campus and is open Monday through Friday with hours of operation from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

ABOUT THE TH!NK PROJECT
The th!NK Project seeks to promote conversation and thinking about what it really means to be part of a community. Over one thousand creative individuals from schools across Rutland County’s Northeast came together to complete the project including Barstow, Neshobe, Lothrop, Leicester, Sudbury, Whiting Elementary, Otter Valley Middle School and High School. The magnitude of this large-scale work is a stimulating and apropos visualization of community as the small pieces meld together seamlessly to create the larger whole.
