What is Orientation?
Your transition to Castleton started with registering for classes and completing the online orientation modules. The process continues at Orientation. Our goal is to give you the information and skills you need to be successful, introduce you to friendly people and useful services, and welcome you to the Castleton community!
Do I have to go to Orientation?
Yes. If you have a serious conflict, write to Matthew Patry, Director of Student Activities at firstname.lastname@example.org, and explain your circumstances.
What will happen at Orientation?
At Orientation you will meet campus leaders and resource people, receive information about critical campus issues, and attend your first Soundings event.
What about Soundings?
As a new transfer student you will be enrolled where you fit in the Connections Seminar series. As part of Connections, you will be completing Soundings requirements. Soundings is an award-winning program that introduces the liberal arts through performances, lectures, and exhibits. Read more about Soundings and view upcoming events.
Will I have time to buy books?
The Castleton University Store hours will be announced soon. In the meantime, check out their website.
